An SI1 diamond is a slightly included stone on the clarity scale. Otherwise known as purity, a diamond’s clarity is a grade that refers to how inclusion-free it is or is not. Inclusions are small carbon deposits or other blemishes inside of a diamond's internal structure or on its surface that can affect a diamonds ability to shine brightly. While many diamonds may be slightly included, SI1 diamonds' inclusions are not visible to the naked eye. The only way to view the inclusions of an SI1 diamond is to look at it under at least 10x magnification with a jeweler's loupe.

SI1 diamonds are an excellent choice as they are eye-clean and offer excellent brilliance and sparkle. Choose an SI1 diamond that is well-graded in other categories such as cut, color, and carat and set it into a Brilliant Earth ring that matches your style.

SI1 diamonds are available across a wide range of carat weights, from smaller melee sizes under 0.30 ct to larger stones over 5 ct in Brilliant Earth's inventory, so you can find options that suit both budget and presence.
SI1 diamonds are offered in popular shapes including round, oval, princess, cushion, pear, emerald, radiant, marquise, asscher, and heart, providing many silhouette choices for different ring styles.
SI1 listings include cut grades such as Super Ideal, Ideal, Very Good, and Good across shapes, with many SI1 stones available in Super Ideal and Ideal cuts for enhanced brilliance.

Yes, SI1 diamonds include an independent grading report from labs such as GIA, IGI, HRD, or GCAL, and each listing displays the report type and the diamond's measured details.
SI1 diamonds with identical grades can vary in face-up appearance due to differences in cut proportions, length-to-width ratio, polish and symmetry, and fluorescence, all of which affect how light interacts with the stone.
Many SI1 diamond listings include 360-degree imagery, real-view photos, or video to help assess face-up appearance. If a listing lacks views, a Brilliant Earth jewelry specialist can provide additional images or video on request.
Yes, you can add a chosen SI1 loose diamond to an engagement ring, and the product page offers Add to Ring options or a Brilliant Earth jewelry specialist can help pair the stone with a suitable setting.
Hearts and Arrows describes a precise facet pattern in round brilliant diamonds that reveals a distinct hearts and arrows motif when viewed under specialized imaging.
